Below: Notes: The Percival dining table by Moises Esquenazi seats eight—in linen-slipcovered Lee Industries chairs. The designer had the electric chandelier fitted with candleholders for an alternative form of lighting, perhaps when a fire is blazing.

Notes: In the dining area of Meg Ryan’s Martha’s Vineyard beach house, the pendant lights are by O’Lampia Studio, the armchairs are slip-covered in a Summer Hill fabric, and the metal sign is vintage.

Notes: The dining area of a Venezuelan retreat high above the Caribbean Sea; the design was a collaboration between the homeowner and architect Fernando Arriaga. A custom-made Corian-top dining table, a pair of built-in concrete sofas slipcovered in Sunbrella’s Sailcloth Shell, and a handcrafted wood bench purchased locally; the winged statuette is by Yves Klein.
